Post date: Dec 13, 2012 3:49:22 AM

Informācija 28. Decembrim – tautas deju uzvedums.

Mīļie Bērni, Vecāki un Ģimenes!

Paldies, ka Jūs un Jūsu bērni piedalās AL54 Kultūras Dienās!

Bērniem ir tikai viens ģenrālmēģinājums, Scott Theatre, Adelaides Universitātē piektdien,

plkst.

Liels Paldies!

Information for 28th December, Folk Dancing Concert.

Dear Children, Parents and Families,

Thank you for your participation in this year’s folk dancing concert.

Children have one dress (national costume is not required for this) rehearsal, 10am, 28th December, Scott Theatre, Adelaide University.

(Adelaide Uni website has links to maps)

Please be punctual as we have limited time for rehearsal on the day. Children have 45 minutes rehearsal, which should give them time for two run-throughs. This rehearsal is as much for the musicians, technical staff and narrator as it is for the children.

The order for the children’s performances:

Pre-school children and parents come on stage.

Plaukstiņ polka

Primary school children come on.

Mārtiņa gailīši dancīti veda Pre-school and primary school together.

Pre-school children and parents go offstage and into auditorium to continue watching.

Burkoneņi kāposteņi – Primary school children.

Miķelītis – Primary school children.

Children go off stage and into auditorium to continue watching.

Concert starts at 6pm, Scott Theatre.

Children need to be in their national costume and ready at the theatre 5..15pm. The stage goes “live” at 5.30pm.

Preschool parents do not need to be in folk-costume, but it is preferable.

If they are not in folk costume, then I suggest plain colours – not stripes and florals. Plain colours will give more focus to children onstage and will be visually better.

We cannot guarantee change rooms for the school, so be as ready as possible prior to arrival at the venue.

Our teacher Stefānija Rozītis will be looking after the primary school children when they arrive.

Parents are to look after the preschool children. When primary school children arrive, they need to report to Stefānija.

If you need further information, please contact me via mobile or email.

Thankyou!

Rasma Celinskis – AL54KD Folk dance concert coordinator.
